In response to COVID-19 as mandated by the State of Wisconsin, our restaurants and bars—The Statehouse, Augie’s Tavern, The Boathouse and The Market—are open in a limited capacity.

The Market is open daily for to-go coffee, breakfast items including hot breakfast sandwiches (served until 11am), oatmeal, bagels and muffins, and other grab-and-go snacks including cheese, beer and wine, from 7am – 7pm. View menu and order online HERE.

Augie’s Tavern at The Statehouse is open for drinks and food service Monday – Friday 4 pm – 9 pm and Saturday and Sunday 11 am – 9 pm.  Tables are spaced six feet apart and the bar seating is adhering to county mandated protocols–all guests must be seated at all times. Seating is on a first come, first served basis.  

The Statehouse offers food and beverage through StatehouseMadison.com for curbside delivery or to-go pick up. Orders can be placed Monday-Friday from 4pm – 9pm and Saturday and Sunday from 11am-9pm. The Statehouse Terrace is open for ‘dine in’ seating and service, weather permitting on a first come first served basis.  The Statehouse dining room remains temporarily closed. The Boathouse Bar and Grill offers lunch and dinner for dockside delivery or to-go pick up through BoathouseMadison.com. Orders can be placed Thursday – Sunday from 11am – 9pm. The Boathouse patio is open for dine in service on a first come first served basis. The Boathouse restaurant remains closed for dine in service. View menus and order online HERE.

We will offer In-Room Dining for dinner from 4-9pm with a curated menu featuring favorite entrees from all of our restaurants. The menu can be found in your guest room or call 608.535.8234. Please note, these orders will also be packaged in single-use containers.

Augie’s Tavern

Augie Faulkner, the first general manager and an owner of The Edgewater Hotel for nearly 50 years, had a flair for entertaining everyone from Elvis Presley to the Dalai Lama. He and his family helped to define Madison culture in a way that was approachable and charming, while also providing the most notable hospitality and service that the area had ever experienced. His style, showmanship and authentic desire to deliver the highest quality experience to every single guest, every single day are what made him legendary. The Boathouse

The Boathouse is a casual waterfront dining spot along the shores of Lake Mendota that serves up hot fare and cold craft beers every day of the week.
