How far in advance should I book?

As Madison’s premier 4-diamond hotel and event venue, our spaces fill quickly. Please contact us to reserve your space as soon as possible, up to a year in advance of your scheduled event.

What is the charge for a private room rental?

All of our event venues vary in rental price depending on the date and time. Please fill out our RFP or call (608) 535- 8185 for rates.

Can I bring my own food and beverage to the private room?

The Edgewater provides all food and beverage for events taking place at our venue. No outside food and beverage may be brought in, with the exception of a wedding cake from a licensed bakery.

Is parking available for my guests?

We offer covered parking at The Edgewater for both overnight and day guests. Valet and self-parking options are available onsite, in addition to street parking in the area.

  • Self-parking visitor: $3/Hr or $24/Day maximum
  • Self-parking overnight: $24
  • Valet visitor: $18/day rate 
  • Valet overnight: $30

How do I set up Room Block accommodations for my group?

Room blocks with special group rates start at 10 rooms. Fill out our online RFP or call our sales office directly: (608) 535-8185.

Do you provide AV?

The Edgewater has in-house, state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment and skilled in-house technicians to ensure your meetings and presentations are executed flawlessly. Find more information about our AV capabilities.

Can you provide meals for special dietary needs?

Our creative culinary team is happy to accommodate and customize menus to meet all dietary needs and our dedicated sales and catering professionals will ensure execution as planned.

Which private event spaces have a view of the lake?

The Grand Ballroom and Red Crown Club both have extraordinary lake views. The Sky Bar has both a view of Lake Mendota and the state capital.
