Brewgrass Fridays 2026: The Jimmys

Brewgrass Fridays are back on the lakefront plaza at The Edgewater in Madison, WI.  This popular summer series, in partnership with Potosi Brewing Company and Wisconsin Distributors, features some of the nation’s best bluegrass bands along with a Friday night Fish Fry. All concerts are free and open to the public.

Known for having everyone in the crowd on their feet, The Jimmys are an award winning, high energy, 6-piece funky blues band with touring experience throughout the US, the Caribbean and Europe. The band is led by seasoned keyboard and Hammond B-3 player Jimmy Voegeli. He is joined by Perry Weber on guitar and vocals, Chris Sandoval on drums, John Wartenweiler on bass and a horn section featuring Pete Ross on sax and Joe Goltz on trombone.

Classic Wisconsin Fish Fry with traditional rye bread, fries and coleslaw begins at 5:00 p.m. at the Icehouse, live music starts at 6:00 p.m. and we’ll be serving your favorite Potosi brews on the Plaza. Seating first come, first served, and spectacular sunsets are complimentary!
