Sixth Annual Frozen Assets Winter Festival Invites You To Chill Out at The Edgewater on Lake Mendota
Stay & Play at Madison’s Place, and celebrate our lakes as one of our community’s greatest assets. Join Clean Lakes Alliance at The Edgewater for the sixth annual Frozen Assets Festival, a family-friendly festival held at The Edgewater, Saturday February 8. Free and open to the public, the festival offers a variety of activities on frozen Lake Mendota, like ice skating, sleigh rides, Kites on Mendota, and more. Start the festivities early at any one of The Edgewater’s Frozen Assets Week events!
Sunday, February 2: Super Bowl & Skating
Watch the Super Bowl in the Boathouse or skip the game for a Sunday skate on the outdoor ice rink.
Tuesday, February 4: Kid’s Night featuring Bucky Badger
Skate with Bucky Badger under the stars and warm up with free hot chocolate! Kids under 12 skate free.
Thursday, February 6: Ice Thaw Networking
Grab a complimentary beverage and join us for an afternoon of networking, taco specials, and tequila tasting with Clean Lakes Alliance! Connect with our community of lake supporters and learn how you can get involved.
Friday February 7: Night Ice
Have an ice night complete with live music, themed bars, full-size ice sculptures, and more–all on The Edgewater Grand Plaza!
Saturday February 8: Frozen Assets Festival
Come down to frozen Lake Mendota for free, family-friendly activities from 10am-4pm. We’ll have ice skating, sleigh rides, Kites on Mendota, dance performances, Funny Faces face painting, and more.
